Loegan Draye,
It's been a minute since I got the courage to put pen to paper... or skin to keyboard, rather.
I got embarrassed.
I never want to overwhelm you and I felt like long posts with sappy words were too much to process.
My thoughts, not your words.
I started to feel like in order to write to you it needed to be eloquently filled with alliteration, prose and pretty structure.
Then, I could chalk the corniness up to the practice of writing. The practice of poetry?
Somehow, I could justify the words and make them less personal to you so it would be less embarrassing for me.
Whatever the excuse of the day is, the result was that I stopped writing.
But, I don't want to be afraid to studder, stammer, and stumble through telling you how much I love you.
So, cheers to my first day back in the gym.
I'm going to make a point to flex these muscles with consistency.
